About Me

Greetings! This is my second year teaching high school, and my second year at HHS. I do have some background when I taught two sections of English Composition for a semester at Carroll College in 2013. After graduating from Carroll College, I have kept coming back to Helena and I absolutely love being part of this community.

This year at HHS I will be teaching three sections of English III as well as two sections of English II. I am looking forward to delving into some American Literature with my juniors as well as reading a variety of texts from around the world with my sophomores.
Some of my favorite things to do include reading books, watching movies, as well as spending time with friends and family. I also love to travel and have been to a number of states in the country, and am looking forward to one day soon adding a stamp to my passport with some international travel.

I am extremely excited to be a part of the HHS community again and am looking forward to working with all of these talented young folk who walk through the door into my class. I love to read and discuss literature and find out what the students are thinking. Each and every one of my students is valuable, and I look forward to learning more about them this year!

We will be using Google Drive in class very frequently (for essays, presentation collaboration, etc.) and sharing your documents via school e-mail does not work well.  If you are sharing a Google document with me, please use my GMail address.  However, emails sent to this address may get lost in the sea of sharing notifications, so questions may not always be answered in a timely fashion if they are mailed to this address.
